3. What is the most expensive wood in

The most expensive wood in kitchen cabinets is Cherry
Wood followed by maple, birch , oak and hickory.
4. Is the type of wood the only factor
affecting price? What other elements would affected pricing?
The type of wood is only one of the factor affecting
the price of a kitchen. The door style is another major
component in the pricing structure of kitchen cabinets.
Different cabinet manufactures have different pricing
structures. Further, some manufactures put an emphasis
on the type of wood more , other put more weight
on the type of door and finally some give equal weight
for both the type of wood and the cabinet door style.
5. What is the price per linear foot for your kitchen cabinets?
The price per linear foot varies depending on the
manufacture, type of wood, door style and more importantly
the type of units placed in the kitchen. Further, a
standard simple box- no features kitchen could ran any where
between $140 a linear foot to $175 a linear foot.
However, as you add full drawers units, corner units , lazy
suzans , easy reach unit, pantry cabinets, etc the cost
would increase to up to $300 to $350 a linear foot.
6. What is glazing and what is the cost of it ?
kitchen cabinet glazing is a design feature commonly
used today to achieve designer look kitchen. The glazing
is done at the factory (most of the time) where they
apply glazing (dark or light color) to the edge profile of
the door. The cost of glazing is usually 15% to 20% up
charge on the cost of the cabinets.
7. What is the lead time for kitchen
cabinets?
The lead time for kitchen cabinets is between 3-4
weeks. In some cases where special custom cabinets are
ordered the lead time would go up to 5-6 weeks.
8. Are the
